SALES TERMS & RETURN POLICY

Goods will ship once invoice is paid in full. All pricing may be subject to change without notice. Due to the custom nature of our products, we are not able to offer returns on our products. Orders are non-returnable and non-refundable.

NATURE OF OUR PRODUCTS

We have made every effort to accurately portray all of our finishes and colors on our website and in our print materials as best as possible. Some variances are expected within computer monitors and/or print materials compared to the actual products.

As all of our items are hand-made, variations in size, color, shape and texture (including but not limited to fissures, bubbles, crackling, and crazing in the glass) are inherent to all of our glass. Shakuff will determine at their discretion, what is considered a manufacture flaw.

Due to the hand crafted nature of our glass, all sizes are approximate with a tolerance of up to +/- 0.5″ in most products, and up to +/- 1″ in others. Changes in appearance to our Brass and other un-lacquered or plated finishes are inherent to the finishes, as they are meant to patina over time.

LEAD TIMES

As all of our products are custom ordered for each client, our ship date is an estimate based on our production schedule at the time of order. Estimated lead times begin once the initial payment is received, and once all drawings and details have been finalized and approved by the client. Lead-times are subject to change once payment and approvals have been received and are subject to delayed times based on our production schedule at the time of final payment/approvals.

SHIPPING

General shipping charges for orders within the Contiguous United States include insured door-to-door delivery, without the use of a lift gate, to easily accessible locations. Additional shipping charges may apply for shipments requiring a lift gate, inside delivery, special delivery services, as well as items shipped outside the Contiguous US, or to remote/outlying locations.

For International orders, delivery charges are FOB to port or door-to-door depending on shipping type quoted. Client is responsible for all customs duties & other fees associated with importing their order. You may incur additional charges depending on location of delivery should you require door-to-door services.

WARRANTY

All packages must be inspected upon receipt. Any problems or damages must be reported within (5) five days of delivery confirmation. To place a claim for shipping damages or breakage please email info@shakuff.com and include the invoice number, tracking number, photo documentation of the damage (in original packaging), and your contact information. Do not discard damaged fixtures or packaging unless expressly told to do so by Shakuff.

Shakuff fixtures are guaranteed for (1) one year after receipt (not installation) against mechanical defects. Warranty does not cover consumables such as light bulbs. Shakuff will repair or replace defective components or product within their discretion. Hard-wired light fixtures are rated for dry, indoor locations only. Warranty does not cover any damages during installation or cleaning. This warranty shall not apply to products that have been altered, improperly installed, mishandled, or misused.

We ask that you inspect all fixtures upon arrival and report any problems or damage within (5) five days from receipt. As Shakuff products are handmade, there may be slight variations in color, texture, and finish. These are not considered flaws.

DAMAGES & CLAIMS

All products are to be fully inspected upon receipt. Damages/defects should be reported within (5) five days of receipt. Send the invoice number, tracking number, photo documentation of the damage (in original packaging), and your contact information to info@shakuff.com. Reports of damages/defects after (5) five days can result in a denial of claim. By installing products, you are accepting the product as is.

We are not responsible for damage caused by: improper installation/assembly, damage caused by improper use of light bulbs or wires, improper cleaning, parts purchased separate from our fixture, or from client repair/ restoration.

Shakuff is not responsible for any costs of installation, removal, or re-installation of our fixtures.
