In the heart of Brooklyn stands a testament to architectural grandeur: The Brooklyn Tower. This soaring edifice, the borough’s tallest, demanded lighting that not only illuminated the residential skyscraper but also accentuated its historic roots and contemporary design. Shakúff was honored to be chosen by JDS Development Group to bring this vision to light, collaborating with renowned architectural designer Woods Bagot to craft bespoke fixtures that embody the Tower's majestic essence.

As a Brooklyn-based design company, we were a natural match for this project that exalts everything Brooklyn has been and heralds everything it can become. Due to our unmatched ability to fabricate bespoke finishings on a large scale, we were brought onboard to manufacture the high-end metal fixtures. We executed their finely-tuned vision for the finishes, allowing the design’s historical homage to shine through.

Our touch adorns key spaces within this iconic structure. As soon as you walk into the lobby, the dramatic eight-foot fixture over the desk catches your eye with its dozen shining LED tube pendants. The circular chandeliers visible from the lobby welcome you home, drawing you further in, down the hallway toward the elevators, and to new heights.
