The challenge in designing for a space this stately is creating harmony among competing beauties. We created this fixture to tie it all together; the Kadur orbs reflect light from the natural world outside its vast windows, the impressive mirrored doors, and the remarkable, dark marbled floors. The vaulted ceilings and wall details give the space a museum-like aura, evoking an era of great art and enlightenment. We created a unique 8” custom-sized Kadur Drizzle and monopoint grippers to eliminate the canopy altogether to realize the clients’ ‘classic meets contemporary’ vision. They already had a general contractor and electrician they loved; our job was to work with them to ensure a smooth installation; we aim to be the easiest element of any new construction project.
